Real Oviedo full-back Jose Maria Angresola Jimenez, ‘Mossa’, appeared today in the press room of El Requexón.

Ahead of a new preseason week, the Valencian said that “we are accumulating work, running a great deal and putting a lot of stress in our legs. I try to give the most out of myself in each training. We're running a lot, we’re doing real work.”

Regarding the lads from the B-team who joined the first-team squad, the defender stated that “they had been training with us last season, and I am not surprised because I knew them. They have grown a lot and it’s an added value to have people from the youth-academy. They love the team since childhood, and that is very good. They are here because they have shown it, they are ready.”

Concerning the goal set by the dressing room ahead of next season, Mossa understands that “you have to have your feet on the ground. We are in a club that demands the maximum, and that has to be the mentality, compete with the best. The coach seeks to generate a strong mentality, one that’ll make us feel winners.”

About the existing competition in the daily work, the Valencian stated that “I always feel the competition, it's football. You never know since anyone can play in my position. If someone is not fit to play, someone else will play. We must always give the maximum.”

Lastly, Mossa emphasized that “there is a great group, we are thrilled. We must continue like this, face the challenges together. We are in the phase of building a team, which is going to be one capable of facing things when bad moments come. The important thing is the collective effort,” concluded the ‘carbayón’ defender.
