Real Oviedo full back, Mossa, appeared in the Mixed Zone yesterday following the team’s victory at the Nou Estadi in Tarragona; home to the team he represented for three seasons.

Regarding the way in which the game developed, and how Real Oviedo overcame the difficulties they faced, the full back believes that, “it’s normal to lose a game when you miss a penalty and go 1-0 down. We went increasingly in search of the win. I am happy with the team’s response, having taken risks to achieve the victory. It was a fair result.” In addition, talking about what a win like that achieved in Tarragona means, Mossa stated that, “it boosts our spirits. It’s an even division, and we’ve shown that we are capable of coming from behind to win.”

When asked about the penalties which he played a part in, the defender said that, “Uche was clever for their one. If our first penalty on Carlos hadn’t been given, that one wouldn’t have been. For our second penalty I went down when I felt the contact as I was knocked off-balance.”

Finally, with respect to his return to his former home, and the warm reception he had received, Mossa pointed out that, “they’ve shown me affection ever since we arrived yesterday, including people I haven’t seen for a long time. I am proud that they respect me as a person. I tried to give everything for that team,” he concluded.
