Another weekend for the Real Oviedo’s youth teams, marked by the victory of Real Oviedo Vetusta in the field of the Condal, which reduces the gap with their direct rivals
Sunday morning took place a key match in the fight for positions of promotion to Segunda División B. The Real Oviedo Vetusta, sixth in the table, faced the Condal, team in the fifth place and ahead of the Blues by five points. Juan Fidalgo’s side raised an intense game, in which they barely gave a break to the home team, taking the game under control. In the first half, the Blues took the lead with a goal by Shaq Moore, but a minute later the Condal evened the scoreboard. In the second half Real Oviedo Vetusta did not stop trying and at the 50th minute Edo gave the lead to the visitor team and got the win for Vetusta. With this win, and after the defeat of the Tuilla in Ganzábal, the Real Oviedo Vetusta is located two points behind the Play Off positions.
The Juvenil A Real Oviedo won 1-0 against Val Miñor with a goal from Steven. With the win, the Blues continue to lead their group, four points ahead of their nearest pursuer, the Racing Santander.
The derby between the Sporting de Gijón and the Juvenil B took place on Saturday, at 17:00, in Mareo. The match ended in a draw. Eloy and Juancho scored the goals for the Real Oviedo. The tie against Sporting B places the Juvenil B in first position on the table of Grupo de Liga Nacional, with a four-point lead over their nearest pursuer, the Sporting de Gijón.
The Real Oviedo Cadete A won 1-2 against the TSK Roces. The goals of the victory were scored by Marcos and Enol.
The Real Oviedo Cadete B won 1-0 against Covadonga. Antón was the author of the goal for the Blues.
The Real Oviedo Infantil A defeated the Astur 2-0 in Tensi. Lucas and Álvaro gave victory to the carbayón team.
The Real Oviedo Infantil B won 2-4 to the Vallobín, with goals by Diego and Alex. The latter scored three times.
The Real Oviedo Alevín A won 5-0 against Real Avilés, with goals by Mario, Borja, Chabel, Iván and M. Fuente.
The Real Oviedo Alevín B won 1-2 against Colegio Loyola in La Carisa. The Blues goals were scored by Adri and Mauro.
The Real Oviedo Benjamín A won 2-4 against Sporting de Gijón.
The Real Oviedo Benjamín B defeated the Astur 4-1 in the Polideportivo de Colloto.
The Real Oviedo Prebenjamín A won against the Lealtad 1-6 in Villaviciosa.
The Real Oviedo Prebenjamín B won 10-1 against Villa de Pravia.
