Real Oviedo Head Coach Luis Carrión appeared in the Press Room this morning at El Requexón, speaking to the gathered members of the media. Asked first of all about the past few days' training and how the week has been, the Gaffer reasoned that "the week has been short, quick, and we've been thinking about what to do against Espanyol. We are trying to see how we can hurt them and we want to put in a good performance. It's a week for working and knowing what we have to do. We are capable and know that there are two legs. Whatever happens, we have to try to be at our best."

Los Carbayones are aware that the dream is just one step, or rather two matches, away, and Luis Carrión wants to make the most of the occasion. "We are very excited. We have been waiting for this opportunity for a long time and that has to give us wings. We can do it. I can see that we can do it, we feel capable, and we are going to go for it."

Real Oviedo's great form owes much to the team's great mental strength. "You can multiply your level through mental aspects. I want the players to think similarly to how I do. A lot of things happen within a match. I want my team to be strong and know how to overcome any adversity. I think the team looks very prepared, and I hope we are strong enough to win."

Regarding the opponent and what he expects from RCD Espanyol on Sunday, Luis Carrión concluded by saying that "I know their coach and they are going to be brave coming here. They've been doing that ever since he started. They have worked on that. We hope to be able to break through their press and get ready to hurt them. We are working on it as best we can."
