This weekend saw the new matchday for Real Oviedo’s academy, with the highlight being Juvenil B clinching the championship, with their victory over Covadonga.
Real Oviedo Vetusta suffered a 2-0 reverse against Mosconia. Making the most of the regional holiday, Oviedo’s affiliate side made the trip to Vega de Anzo on Monday morning to face their opponent. Juan Fidalgo’s side were unable to recover from the goals conceded, and have lost their chance to remain in the hunt for promotion this season following this defeat. Vetusta will face Tuilla at El Requexón next week.
Real Oviedo Juvenil B won 3-0 at Covadonga, with goals from Eloy (2) and Iván. With this victory, the Oviedo side were crowned champions of their league with two matches remaining, putting the seal on a fantastic season.
Real Oviedo Cadete A lost 3-1 against Llano 2000.
Meanwhile Cadete B secured a 5-0 win against Navarro. Oviedo’s goals were provided by Dani, Nacho, and an Antón hattrick.
Real Oviedo’s Infantil A side claimed an emphatic 4-0 triumph against Sporting in Mareo, courtesy of a Rober brace, and strikes by Lucas and Lorian.
Infantil B drew 4-4 against Astur, with Alex (2), Manu Blanco and Teo on target.
Real Oviedo Alevín A fell to a 2-1 defeat against Roces, with Charbel supplying the consolation strike.
Alevín B achieved an 8-0 win against Centro Asturiano. Diego (4), Miguel, Pablo, Mael and Sergio managed to hit the back of the net.
Real Oviedo Benjamín A won 5-4 against Xeitosa, with Nico (2), Daniel (2) and Mauro all on the mark.
Benjamín B also won 5-2 away at Atlético Lugones, with goals from Hugo, Martín (2) and David (2).
Two goals from Nico gave Real Oviedo Prebenjamín A their 2-0 victory against Covadonga.
Prebenjamín B were victorious by 10 goals to 0 against Condal, with Adrián (5), Darío (3), Nicolás and Alex the goalscorers.
