Real Oviedo lost in Palamós in a game where the Blues were unable to score after having plenty of chances, mainly in the second half, and could not get any points from a Llagostera side that were fighting to avoid relegation and had picked most of the points played home.
David Generelo chose Edu Bedia instead of Míchel, while Toché and Koné were up front again. Llagostera were first to approach Real Oviedo goal, but their diagonal attempt went wide. Real Oviedo followed suit, but Toché's shot went over the bar. A few minutes after, the local side scored as Natalio did not fail to hit the net in a one on one chance before Miño, making Llagostera take the lead. Real Oviedo reacted immediately, but there were no clear chances on René's goal. Edu Bedia, Toché and Koné tried their luck but their attempts were either saved by René or went wide of goal.
In the second half, los Carbayones attacked steadily. The first attempt was a right-footed shot by Toché that went over the bar after connecting with a cross from the wing. Then, the best chance of the game was produced when Susaeta failed to score in a one on one chance before René and Toché missed on open goal after getting the deflection. Koné had the next couple of chances, testing local keeper with a long shot that René touched slightly enough to send the ball off the post. Under Real Oviedo ruthless siege, there was a free kick on the edge of the penalty box that Edu Bedia shot off the bar to bounce on the goal line. Real Oviedo kept on attacking so Aguirre and Linares were brought on, then Llagostera managed to score again as Natalio netted in his second goal in the final score.
This defeat leaves Real Oviedo's spot on league table depending on the rest of the results in this matchweek 37 in Liga Adelante.
