Real Oviedo striker, Joselu, today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.

Now fully recovered from the injury which had been ruling him out in recent weeks, the forward explained that, "I'm doing great and feeling good. The Winter Break came at a fantastic time for me to recover. I am coming back after a month out, but I've been doing exercise. I'm feeling great physically."

Asked what was the worst feature of spending so long training away from the group, Joselu explained that, "the hardest thing is having spent time without using the ball. Physically you get up to speed, but it's hard to adapt to using the ball again."

Ready to get back on the pitch, the attacker again insisted that he is not bothered about the position he plays on the pitch, saying that "as long as I'm playing then I don't care where. I'm training as an attacking midfielder this week, but I'm comfortable anywhere."

This morning's training session took place in freezing conditions, and it's possible that conditions against Numancia will be similar. Joselu said, "I've played there on a frozen pitch before. It will be just as difficult for both sides, and it's not an excuse."

Finally, asked about the final stages of last year for the side, Joselu commented that, "statistics are just numbers. We are taking it a game at a time and just thinking about getting three points in Soria."
