Real Oviedo full back, Diegui Johannesson, appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón today.

Following the victory at the Nuevo Arcángel, the Asturian said that, “this is the week after a victory and working seems better. We will go to Cádiz with the same mentality we did Córdoba.” In addition, Diegui reasoned that, “we have things to improve on. We can’t score four goals and not be comfortable.”

Talking about his connection with Bárcenas on the wing, Johannesson stated that, “I understand him very well and we work together well. He always helps me, and it’s a big advantage.”

With respect to Real Oviedo’s playing style this season, the defender believes that, “we are having more of the ball this season, and we have players that want to play. The Coach knows that, and he is working with it.”

Regarding the next opponent, Cádiz, the Carbayón commented that, “they have a great team and we will have to work to get the three points. We know it will be difficult in Cádiz.”

Finally, asked about the competition for places in the squad, Diegui said that, “it’s important that we are together and that there is competition. I am competing with Carlos. It’s a good thing and nobody is going to relax,” concluded the Asturian.
