Real Oviedo will pay homage to all of those citizens who fought on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19 with a commemorative armband, to be worn by the Real Oviedo captain in each one of the remaining eleven LaLiga matches.
Upon a request from the members of the first-team squad, the club has designed a commemorative captain's armband. The armband pays respect to all of those people who left, leave, and will continue leaving their homes each day to fight on the frontline of the battle against COVID-19.
Real Oviedo thus continues its efforts to bring constant recognition to those heroes who have given everything to care for us and protect us over the course of this whole period.
