Real Oviedo forward Ibrahima Baldé, visited the Press Room this morning at El Requexón.

Following another training session, Real Oviedo forward analysed the current state of the dressing room after Monday night’s match in La Rosaleda: “We are a bit down. We went into it off the back of two good matches and we didn’t play how we wanted to in Málaga.” Additionally, regarding the penalty kick, Ibra noted that “the Coach had warned us about what they do; I waited and made a mistake. I am very sorry, but we can’t think about it. It’s time to look forward and get all the points.”

Regarding how he sees Real Oviedo ahead of the remaining LaLiga 123 matches, the Senegalese striker highlighted that “this team always goes out to win. The other night we got it wrong, and we paid the price. We have to go all out during the remaining games, for our pride, for the club, and for the fans. You have to be a winner and give everything. We have talked about it and know what's left and that we can still succeed. We have to work and get as many points as possible and see where that takes us. We have to start on Sunday and go for it. We have a team to compete with anyone.”

Concerning this weekend’s game against Numancia, Ibra stated that “there’s no easy team in this league. We are vigilant and are preparing ourselves 200% for it. We demand a lot of ourselves and will give everything on the pitch. We will compete until the end, with respect for this badge. We are professionals and can’t approach this lightly.”

Lastly, regarding a message for the fans, the striker commented that “you nalways have to believe. It’s true that it all depends on us, and we have to make them see that the team is still alive,” concluded the Senegalese forward.
