Real Oviedo forward Ibrahima Baldé appeared in the Press Room today at El Requexón.

Having recovered from a thigh injury, the Real Oviedo attacker stated that “I am well. I just have to keep working now. It is important to be at 100%. The team needs all of us to be available. I am grateful to be getting minutes. Any of us can be a starter, and the important thing is that you give it your all when it is your turn.”

Regarding the last match, against Albacete, the Senegalese forward highlighted that “it was a difficult ground to go to, against a good opponent, and we knew that we had to be at our best and play well.”

When asked about the competition within the squad and his chances of featuring in the next match, the Real Oviedo forward stated that “it depends on the Coach. It could be my turn today, and someone else’s tomorrow. We have to be ready to help the team. When it’s your turn, you have to give it everything, and if not, then keep working. At this club, if you don’t give it your best, you don’t play.”

Talking about the form that the team is in, Ibra commented that “we are doing well, but we have to keep this run going. It is good to keep earning points, even though we know it’s difficult. We are in good form now and we have to get the three points each week.”

Finally, with respect to the next opponent, Lugo, Ibra concluded by saying that “we have to work hard this match, withstand it, and win it. We’re facing Lugo and anything can happen. We have to concentrate and put away  the chances that we get.”
