The LaLiga Genuine Santander season has now come to an end. This weekend saw Real Oviedo compete in the final stage of the league competition in Castellón, where effort, dedication, and sacrifice were once again on display.
Los Azules beat Córdoba CF (2-0) and the Fundación Real Madrid (3-0) on this final match day. However they were unable to complete a full house of victories after a narrow loss against FC Cartagena (1-2).
The great showing from Los Azules saw them finish the season in second place in the Grupo Compañerismo, behind only RCD Mallorca.
Our players defended the Real Oviedo badge with pride, courage, and determination, and they demonstrated, once again, that sharing is more important than competing.
