Real Oviedo defender Juan Forlín made an appearance in the press room at El  Requexón.

Ahead of the third week of the preseason, the Argentine stated that, “We’ve had two very good weeks. We have to adapt. It’s important to focus on strategy, on what coach asks of us.”

Speaking about the importance of Anquela continuing as coach, the Argentine believes that, “It’s good to keep the same base and to prepare for when it gets serious. We have to get to work and get on the same page.”

When asked about the new additions to the team, Forlín highlighted that, “They’re very good people. There are some quality players and they’re going to help us out.”

Referring to the parity that is expected in the division, the defender understands that, “It’s going to be fierce competition with teams with a lot of history. We have to compete in every match. We’ve got to do our part every weekend by knowing what coach asks of us.”

Finally, speaking about the way to play, Juan Forlín recognizes that, “The important thing is to play well, keep the ball, and compete every weekend,” the Argentine concluded.
