After his holidays, the Catalonian assured that, “I was ready for things to get back to normal. It’s time to compete, train, and work hard.” In addition, regarding the fact that Juan Antonio Anquela is the coach for this season, the midfielder stated that, “We know what coach is going to ask of us, it’s just a matter of applying the concepts and helping the new guys.”
More precisely, Ramón Folch believes that, “In this summer transfer window we’ve really strengthened the team with a lot of quality players. We have a great group and now it’s time to get to work.” In addition, referring to his three new teammates in the midfield, the Catalonian stated that, “Tejera was my rival in the derbies. I like him a lot more as a teammate than as an opponent. Javi Muñoz is a very good player; we play really well together. Boateng is a very explosive player who can score goals. It’s good to have so many different kinds of players.”
Asked about the parity that exists in the division, Folch believes that, “The Segunda is always really complicated. This year there are really good teams and we’ll see what happens.”
Finally, regarding his role in the midfield, Ramón said he understands that, “The middle of the pitch is so important, we have to bring stability and be careful with the ball.
