Real Oviedo central midfielder Ramon Folch appeared in the Press Room this morning at El Requexón.

Following last weekend’s draw at the Carlos Tartiere, the Catalan stated that “at this stage, the key thing was getting those three points and it’s a shame, but we are going to fight to the end. Now it is going to be more difficult to earn points, but we have to try to win three points every week. It’s time to turn the page and think about what’s next.”

Speaking about the team’s unusual week, in which they will not play a match this weekend, Ramon commented that “we have to work hard, train hard and think about next week, which will be against a tough opponent. We are looking forward to it, and are preparing as well as we can and we’ll see if we can make up ground in the league table. We’ve got to win, win, and keep winning.”

Finally, when asked about Jimmy and his role in the last few matches, Folch concluded by stating that “I have always said that the younger lads can contribute. I am happy for him, and I am going to help him as much as I can. I have always had more of a defensive role. With Jimmy, I have more freedom, and together we give balance to the team.”
