Following the announcement of Sergio Egea’s contract renewal, the sports management continues to make progress in the team’s design and makeup for next season, having now determined the coaching staff and the preseason starting date.
The Argentine coach will be assisted by the majority of the work-team that accompanied him in the final stretch of last season, with José Luis Baroja as Assistant Coach and Sergio Segura as Goalkeeper Coach. The physical preparation will be led by Alberto Martínez, who until now held the same position in the ‘Carbayón’ B-Team, while Michi Menéndez will be in charge of the post-match recovery sessions for Sergio Egea’s men.
The first-team squad will be back under the orders of the Argentine from 8th July at El Requexón, where preseason work will be done ahead of the 2019-20 season.
Likewise, the club is working on arranging different preparatory friendly matches to be played ahead of the start of the official league season. These matches will gradually be announced over the coming days.
