Real Oviedo concluded this Sunday the season in LALIGA EA SPORTS with a defeat against RCD Mallorca at Son Moix (3-0), in the match corresponding to the last round of the championship, with the Bermellón team fighting to avoid relegation.
The Oviedista team presented some changes in the starting lineup, with Fores up front, and despite the context of the match, the team showed character during the first half, creating chances near the opponent's goal and taking advantage of the nervousness that spread from the stands to the field in the case of the home team. The clearest chance came from a header by Dani Calvo from a set piece, which went wide. Mallorca scored when their fans were starting to get more anxious and went into halftime with a narrow lead on the scoreboard.
After the break, Real Oviedo tried to react and made substitutions to seek a better offensive performance, although RCD Mallorca ended up extending their lead to close the match and secure the home victory, which, nevertheless, was not enough to avoid their relegation.
