The results of the Third Edition of the Índice de Transparencia de los Clubes de Fútbol Profesional (Index of the Transparency of Professional Football Clubs) were announced this morning, with Real Oviedo receiving a mark of 100%. This result placed the club amongst the highest-rated clubs in LaLiga in this area.
The club has spent recent years working on topics relating to transparency to implement these records, as part of its effort to comply with guidelines and achieve good governance in professional football. Following a study of 48 indicators, Real Oviedo has earned a mark of 100% in each of the five areas which form the overall transparency mark: Information about the football club, Relationship with season-ticket holders, fans and the general public, Economic and financial transparency, Transparency of contracts and supplies, and Indicators of the Law of Transparency.
These results show the club renewing its commitment to working with a culture of corporate transparency, with the club sitting alongside the highest-ranking teams in LaLiga in this regard.
