Real Oviedo Vetusta faced Logroñés this Sunday morning, with Javi Rozada’s side’s unbeaten run finally coming to an end after eleven matches.

The B team emerged at Pitch 1 at El Requexón aware of the importance of continuing to pick up points in order to stay towards the top of the table, but were lacking the final ball today. The two sides alternated control of the match during the first half. The early injury to Casi quickly enforced changes to Javi Rozada’s plans for the match. The B team didn’t stop trying to create chances during the early stages, as their opponent forced them into having to use the wings to cause danger with crosses. Despite their opportunities, Real Oviedo Vetusta suffered a blow when Logroñés opened the scoring. Real Oviedo Vetusta pushed forward more in the second half as they went in search of the equaliser. Borja, Ernesto and Steven had several chances to level, but couldn’t make the most of any of them. The match ended 0-1.

Real Oviedo Vetusta will have another chance to pick up three points next Saturday at Zubieta. The B team will face Real Sociedad B at 18:00.
