Real Oviedo Vetusta could not rediscover victory at home and fell 1-2 to Club Deportivo Lealtad in a match marked by injuries, back-and-forth play, and a lack of precision in the final third. The blue reserve team, which had gone three games without a home win, sought to change the dynamic at El Requexón, but the three points went to Villaviciosa against a Lealtad side that had yet to win away this season.

The match began with a dominant Vetusta, firm in their pressing and controlling the pace of the game. However, the first decisive action came from the penalty spot. The referee awarded a controversial penalty for a fall in the area, and Alorda made no mistake from the spot, putting the visiting team ahead with their first clear chance.

Despite the setback, Roberto Aguirre's team reacted maturely. The blue reserve team regained control, sought depth, and found their reward just before halftime. Dieguito capitalized on a cross from Omar, which was deflected by Coballes, to score the equalizer and send the game level into the break.

The second half began as the first ended: with a dominant, incisive Vetusta creating chances. The intensity and rhythm of the blue team put Lealtad in trouble, but the reserve team failed to turn their dominance into a goal. And, in a counterattack by the visitors, the blow came. Nico Pereira, a former blue player, connected a great shot to make it 1-2 and put the match uphill.

Roberto Aguirre made substitutions in search of solutions, but the blue coach had already been forced to adapt early on: Tejón and Adri Lopes were injured in the opening minutes, making way for Óscar Maza and Jaime Coballes. Despite the setbacks, Vetusta kept pushing until the end, accumulating chances and gaining ground in the opponent's half, but the ball refused to go in.

In the end, the three points stayed with Lealtad, the bottom team in the competition and without any away victories this season. The Oviedo team, on the other hand, remains in second place in the standings, waiting for the matchday to conclude.

It's time to lift spirits. The Oviedo reserve team will look to get back to winning ways next week, in a challenging away game against Salamanca UDS in Salamanca.
