Small gestures help to create a more sustainable world. Real Oviedo wanted to do its part on World Environment Day by raising awareness about the importance of caring for our planet. Making the most of the occasion, the Real Oviedo Foundation launched an initiative to plant several trees at Fundoma, the residence which hosts many players from our youth academy.

Several players from Real Oviedo International, Escuela Real Oviedo, and Real Oviedo Genuine participated in this project, in which César Martín, Real Oviedo's Head of the Institutional Relations, and Club Ambassador Carlos Muñoz also figured. In addition, Coca Cola's Head of Sustainability, José Ramón Méndez, was also present at the event to support this beautiful cause.

Real Oviedo, with its aim of making wider society aware of the importance of taking care of our ecosystems and encouraging respect for the environment, wanted to carry out this activity to convey to the younger generation the importance of caring for the environment.
