Real Oviedo completed their first training session of the week this Friday after the tough defeat suffered in Vallecas against Rayo Vallecano. The blue team returned to work in a session marked by rain and with their minds already set on the next league match.

The team from the capital of the Principality faces a new championship matchday next Monday, when they will visit RCD Espanyol in a key match to get back on track and regain confidence.

The session began in the gym, where the players carried out the usual activation and strength work. Subsequently, the squad took to the field to complete the rest of the training session, now on the pitch and under rain that accompanied much of the day's work.

On the field, the coaching staff led a session focused on physical and tactical aspects, aiming to prepare the team in the best possible way for Monday's demanding match.

With several days still ahead to continue fine-tuning details, the Carbayón team will keep training over the weekend with the intention of arriving in the best condition for the clash against the Catalan team.
