2023/24 will kick off one of the projects that Grupo Pachuca has put most of its effort, work, and anticipation into; Real Oviedo Femenino. After four Oviedo Moderno teams became part of Real Oviedo, Los Azules will have management of said organisations, thus beginning a new era in women’s football in Oviedo.

Leading said project will be María Suárez García (Oviedo, 1990), a journalist currently tied to Real Oviedo and a federated player of CFF Llosalín, a regional team that she has played on since the 2018-2019 season. The Asturian, founder of the women’s section of the UD Llanera 15 years ago, will now work on making women’s football grow at Real Oviedo, where she will coordinate the teams and work to provide them with the necessary tools to set the project’s bases and represent the club each weekend.

This moves sees Grupo Pachuca strengthen its commitment to women’s football, as it has already done with different teams of the Group.
