A new Real Oviedo supporters' club has been born. The peña has come to life in the capital of the Czech Republic, where a number of football fans are united in their passion for Real Oviedo.
The Peña Oviedista Anton Fivébr has become a reality in Prague, thanks to the efforts of a group of Oviedistas. Some of the members are Czechs, while others are Spanish, with President Matías Pérez Dvořáček demonstrating the unity of the group.
The supporters' club's name is a nod to the third coach in Real Oviedo's history. Fivébr was born in Prague in 1888, and took charge of Los Azules during the 1928-1929 season.
The headquarters of the new peña can be found in Bělohorská Street (189/155), in the city of Prague. The group now has an X account; @poviedistapraga
The headquarters of the Peña Oviedista Anton Fivébr also boast another potential plus for Oviedistas visiting the Czech Republic, as they can be found close to Břevnov Monastery. The monastery, founded by San Adalberto in the year 993, has the oldest tradition of beer production in the Czech Republic, with the highly-prestigious Benedicta Břevnovský being brewed there.
