Real Oviedo centre back Dani Calvo talked to the media this morning in the Press Room at El Requexón.

Asked about last weekend's match, in which Los Azules saw two points slip away from them in added time, Calvo highlighted that "it's true that we are losing points in stoppage time, but we have to value the performance as a whole. We have now started to focus on Mirandés. We have deserved more from these matches, but I'm sure that in the mid- to long-term we will come out of it stronger."

The fans' backing is crucial, as was seen in Ponferrada, and Calvo was clear that "the fans never let us down and I think that they can see that things are improving. Between them and us we will come through this situation."

Álvaro Cervera's side will face Mirandés next Saturday, and the defender described them as a "young, very dangerous, and very hungry team, but I think that we can win considering the strengths that we have. If we get the victory on Saturday it will prove that we are doing good things. We've had several wins at the Tartiere now and it's important to recover that solidity in order to climb up the table."

Regarding the team's playing style, the centre back concluded by saying that "you don't need a lot of possession to win a match. Ponferradina had 60% of the possession but the clear opportunities were all for us."
