Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera spoke to the media this morning at El Requexón.

The Gaffer began by stating that, unless there were any setbacks, Borja Sánchez would be back in the matchday squad this weekend. "We decided not to take him to Ponferrada. As there is no risk now, he can come back in."

Real Oviedo face Mirandés this Saturday, with the Gaffer discussing the fact that the opponent "has just beaten one of the surprise packages in the division in Cartagena, which is a very difficult opponent. They play with five defenders and it is very difficult to break them down. Up front they are very dynamic. If you are disorganised they give you problems. They deserve a lot of credit for what they are doing."

Álvaro Cervera highlighted that what he wants his team to do is to "get out of this situation so that we can play more calmly. We always want to win but we feel obliged to get the three points. Teams that want to achieve something have to build it on their results at home. We have to become strong at home and then whatever we get away from home will help us move towards greater objectives."

Asked whether his message had got through to the squad, the Real Oviedo Head Coach stated that "my idea is to demand a lot of players. We have had bad luck because sometimes it's easier for messages to get through when results are going your way, but they are happy. That's the sense I am getting."
