The Real Oviedo Femenino Academy experienced an unforgettable day this Tuesday during the second leg of the UEFA Women’s Nations League final, which saw the Spanish Women’s National Team face Germany at the Metropolitano Stadium.
The young blue footballers traveled to Madrid early in the morning, filled with excitement and pride, representing Real Oviedo Femenino on a day that marked another step in their sporting growth. For many of them, it was the first time they had the chance to enjoy an international match of such significance live, witnessing some of the best players in the world and feeling the atmosphere of a great stadium.
Before the match, the academy players enjoyed the official Fan Zone, a space designed to bring the football celebration closer to younger fans. Activities, music, and recreational proposals completed a day conceived as a comprehensive experience around sports, camaraderie, and fun.
The highlight of the day came with the match, where the young Oviedo players witnessed the Spanish National Team's resounding 3-0 victory, thanks to a brace from Claudia Pina and a goal from Vicky López, as well as the national team's crowning with a new continental title—a historic moment they experienced from the stands.
The Club highlights this initiative as an invaluable opportunity to reinforce the values that define our academy: training, learning, and personal and sporting growth. An experience that will continue to fuel the passion and dreams of future generations of Real Oviedo Femenino.
