Real Oviedo has come to an agreement to contract the services of defender Guillermo Cotugno for the next two seasons.
The player, who is 22-years old, was born on 12 March, 1995 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Cotugno, a U-21international, made his debut with Danubio in Uruguaya's Primera División in the 2013-14 season. He stayed there for a season before joining Russian side Rubin Kazán, where he played a total of 33 games in two seasons. This past year, Cotugno played with Talleres de Córdoba, an Argentine side in the Primera División, and the team which he arrives from.
Guillermo Gotugno is a right-back with a high defensive level, who is quick and can also adapt to playing on the left flank.
The player will join training sessions immediately, as he has already passed required medical exams in the Clínica Asturias. He will work under the directions of Juan Antonio Anquela in the morning session today in order to be ready for the coach when the season begins.
