As part of its aim of adapting Real Oviedo to its working model, Grupo Pachuca has taken the decision to restructure its medical services, which has resulted in the departure of Doctor Manuel Rodríguez.

Real Oviedo is aware of the importance that Doctor Rodríguez has had within the club during his almost 35 years of service. He has been a true institution within the club, demonstrating exemplary professional conduct ever since he began to work as the first-team doctor in 1988. Manuel Rodríguez has shown his commitment and love for the club at all times, and Real Oviedo is tremendously grateful for his constant dedication. His commitment remained the same regardless of the division that the first team was in, withstanding and overcoming the very difficult moments that the club had to go through. Doctor Rodríguez is living history of Real Oviedo.

Real Oviedo, led by President Martín Peláez, would like to thank and recognise the work and service carried out by Doctor Rodríguez, wishing him the best of luck for his professional and personal future.

We know that Manuel Rodríguez was, is, and will be another Oviedista, and the doors of Real Oviedo will always be open to him.

Thank you, Manolo.
