Real Oviedo Head Coach, Sergio Egea, today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.

The Argentine Coach began by emphasising that the most important thing is to “do our job and go for the win against a deserving champion. I always believe that anything is possible. I have always had faith and have always been optimistic. I have always believed in our players. We are depending on two other teams, but we will keep the faith. We must win.”

Asked about the two matches which Real Oviedo is depending on, Sergio Egea was adamant that “I believe in the professionalism of all players and both clubs involved are great institutions, who will compete. Anything can happen.”

Egea was clear that “we have to win no matter what. Real Oviedo has to compete, get some luck, get the three points and wait. You always find out what is going on elsewhere, but the main thing is getting the win. After that whatever happens, happens. We are aware that we must play our best football against the champions. I have full confidence in the players.”

With respect to the problem which will prevent away fans from travelling, the Coach lamented it and pointed out that “we will try to make them happy and always give them our best,” concluded the Argentine.
