The Press Room at El Requexón this morning saw Carlos Hernández speak to the Press.
The defender began by analysing the team's current situation and stating that "I've never experienced anything like this. We have to stick together and be united, starting by winning this weekend."
Asked what has been punishing the team, the centre back said that "we are paying the price for conceding so many goals. We have to concentrate and improve, and that goes for everyone. We have to change our form. We must take responsibility, be self-critical, and start doing things well."
With respect to the work done during the week, Carlos Hernández highlighted that "we are focusing on tactics, pressing and intensity. Little by little you will see these things out on the pitch. The Coach has clear ideas, he speaks to us, and little by little things are going to improve."
Finally, regarding his feelings on an individual level, the defender commented that "I train so that I can play. I feel good and ready for the Coach to select. I am excited and hungry to give 100%. Footballers have to be demanding. I want to get back to my best level. The Coach believes in me and I will repay the team. When things aren't going well, confidence is important. Rozada has spoken to me. He wants me at my best level and I have to do my talking on the pitch."
