Real Oviedo defender Carlos Hernández today appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón.
After the return to training, the centre back analysed last weekend's match, saying that "we knew it was an important match and it's a shame we couldn't get the victory, but I think we come out of it stronger ahead of the coming fixtures.  A derby is always a nice experience and we were very excited to play in it.  There were periods where we played better, but they were better in the second half, so the result was a fair one."
With respect to the team's league position, Carlos believes that "it's hard for any player to be down at the bottom of the table.  It's an added pressure and we have to get out of there.  We have a good team and we have to keep working.  The objective is to get out of there, win the next match, and start picking up victories.  We have to end the year by getting away from the bottom of the table.  We have to put in good performances in these five matches, gain confidence and push upwards."
Regarding the importance of keeping clean sheets, the defender highlighted that "not conceding is crucial in the Segunda.  We have to avoid letting in goals and make the most of the chances up front."
Finally, speaking about the next opponent, Las Palmas, the centre back commented that "they have good players but they're like us.  It won't be easy.  We have to be united and step up to get out of this."
