Real Oviedo defender Carlos Hernández appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón after the first team's return to training.

Speaking about the team's good run in recent matches, the centre back commented that "things are going well and we are taking confidence from it.  The Coach came in with the idea that we had to focus on these fourteen weeks and put intensity in.  Picking up good form is important, and we have to focus on that.  In general terms, we are doing well."

Regarding Ziganda's message to the team, Carlos highlighted that "he arrived with clear ideas.  We are looking to be a solid team that sticks together, and we are achieving it.  The team is on the right path."

Asked for the latest information about COVID-19 and how it is affecting the day-to-day work, Carlos Hernández said that "right now I am more worried about the team's situation.  We have to isolate ourselves and train to go

into the game in the best way possible.  It's true that the next two matches are important and we need the fans' support, but it's not something we can decide.  We must focus on what we can do."

Finally, ahead of the Ponferradina match, the Andalusian said that "it will be an incredibly even match.  We are in good form and have to keep going like that to have a good end to the season."
