Real Oviedo have reached an agreement to renew Juan Antonio Anquela as the first team’s coach. Anquela has committed to another season with the Real Oviedo.
Juan Antonio Anquela, who is 60 years old, came to Real Oviedo last summer from SD Huesca, who he took to the Play Off to be promoted to Primera División last year. During his first season at the head of Real Oviedo, the coach has led a team that gained 65 points, classified in seventh position, and remained at the doors of the play off due to the goal average with the sixth classified team.
The coach will continue as the head of the first team during the 2018/19 season accompanied by his current technical team, who will also renew for another season with the organization.

Assistant Analyst: Daniel Mayo
As such, Juan Antonio Anquela and his team will begin the preseason on Monday, July 9th at El Requexón training facility.
