The Carlos Tartiere played host to the clash between Real Oviedo Vetusta and Sporting B, which ended in a 2-0 win for the home side.

‘Los Azules’ were clearly in control of the play and the best chances for the full ninety minutes of this match, which was rescheduled from January. The first half began with a goal from Lucas in the sixth minute, and the B team were able to play their passing game. Jimmy and Edu Cortina ran the show in midfield, and made the most of the team’s pace up front to create numerous dangerous chances. The second half was also dominated by Vetusta, with Javi Rozada’s side continuing to control possession and creating various opportunities to extend their lead. Ugarte headed home from a corner to add a second goal in the 74th minute. The match ended in a 2-0 win.

Real Oviedo Vetusta added three more points to their tally and are now five off the playoffs. They will have no time to relax this week, as they face Amorebieta at home on Sunday.
