Galician midfielder Ana Buceta has renewed her contract with Real Oviedo Femenino, ensuring her continuity with Los Azules until June 2026.
Buceta, 32, from Moaña (Pontevedra), is one of the Real Oviedo Femenino captains and leaders in the dressing room. Her experience and leadership were fundamental in achieving promotion last season, where she provided balance and vision on the pitch.
During the 2024/25 season, Buceta contributed four assists and two goals, establishing herself as one of the team's top assist leaders.
In March 2025, she suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee, which required surgery. The operation was successful and Buceta is already undergoing her recovery process.
Buceta's renewal represents a vote of confidence from the club regarding her recovery, and a commitment to her professionalism and experience for the new season in Primera RFEF.
