Ana Menéndez García, Anina (Candás, 27/07/2004), will play for Real Oviedo during its centenary season. The young player from Candás, who was developed by Oviedo Moderno, is a quick dribbler and stands out thanks to her goalscoring instincts. The Asturian attacker established her place with Los Azules after training with the Verdinegros Club since 2017 and by being part of Real Oviedo Femenino since its formation.
The Oviedista took her first steps with Victoria de Perlora, where she played at a young age from 2011 to 2016, and briefly played for Femiastur Avilesino during the 2016-2017 season.
After making her debut with the Moderno first team in 2021, Anina established herself with the first team during the 2023-2024 season. She was a key player during the previous season’s campaign, despite having had bad luck with injuries.
