Real Oviedo Head Coach Álvaro Cervera appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón this morning.

 

The Gaffer declared his satisfaction with the work done by his players during the match against Las Palmas at the Carlos Tartiere, highlighting the high pressing game of his players and the number of the times they won the ball close to the opposition's area.

 

Asked about tomorrow's fixture at Ipurúa, the Coach admitted that Eibar is one of his favourite teams in the division, saying that "they have things very clear and they give very little away at home. According to my way of understanding football, it is a team that will be fighting for promotion come the end of the season. Coming up against this type of team helps you to see where you are."

 

Regarding possible rotation ahead of the derby, Cervera was clear that "the match that you have to win is always your next one."
