The Real Oviedo coach, Guillermo Almada, appeared in the press room after the match against Real Madrid at the Bernabéu. First, the Carbayón coach analyzed the game and explained that "at times we controlled the match well and had some dangerous situations. We would have liked to have more possession, but from there they opened the scoring. The effort and good performance of the players left us satisfied. However, we would have liked to give the fans another positive result, but what I value most is the effort and commitment."

"It's not normal for players of such caliber to be booed, and the ovation for Santi doesn't surprise me. He has earned this respect throughout his career," Almada commented secondly when asked about the boos for Mbappé and Vinicius and the ovation for Cazorla during the substitution.

Finally, when questioned about the captain's absence from the starting lineup today, the Uruguayan coach said, "I talked to him a bit, and he prefers to say goodbye to the fans as a starter at the Tartiere and still be able to participate today. It was a decision we agreed on together. That's why we made that decision."
