Real Oviedo striker Alemão appeared in the Press Room this morning at El Requexón, speaking to the gathered members of the media ahead of the fixture against Real Valladolid. The Brazilian, who started for the first time last weekend, began by discussing the fine performance and magnificent victory against Burgos CF. "Like everyone else I am very happy. The fans and all of us are happy. It was a good response following what had been a good performance in the derby, but where we were unable to get any points. We are continuing working in order to be better and better in the coming matches."

Los Azules now have minds focused on what will undoubtedly be a tricky encounter with Real Valladolid this Friday. "It will be a difficult match. We are two teams that are fighting for promotion. We have our fans behind us and having them there will give us extra strength to win and get the three points."

"The next match is a big one. We are working very hard in order to go to Valladolid and win. There are still a lot of matches left, but every point is important."

Finally, discussing his individual form and his adaptation to Spain, Alemão concluded that "the football is different. I always watched it on tv and there has to be an adaptation period. It's different compared to Brazil, but I like Oviedo a lot."
