Activity to Resume at El Requexón in the Coming Days

Cuco Ziganda will have 30 players available to him for the return to training, with 7 B-team players joining up with the senior squad

Following entry into Phase 0 of lockdown deescalation in Spain, which sees professional sportspeople able to resume training, Real Oviedo is preparing for the first-team squad to restart training in the coming days.
Once disinfection and adaptation work has been completed on the club's training facilities to enable them to comply with the safety measures laid out by the health authorities, the Real Oviedo first-team squad will resume training at El Requexón in the coming days.  The first few weeks will see individual training sessions, before working through different stages and eventually reaching group sessions.
Cuco Ziganda will have 30 players available to him in total, with 7 members of the B team joining up with first-team training.  The following players are on the list for training: Alfonso, Grippo, Arribas, Luismi, Carlos Hernández, Coris, Sangalli, Rodri, Saúl Berjón, Yoel Bárcenas, Juanjo Nieto, Champagne, Jimmy, Ortuño, Ibra, Christian Fernández, Borja Sánchez, Tejera, Lolo, Edu Cortina, Mossa, Lucas, Lunin, Jorge Mier, Javi Mier, Berto Horreo, Obeng, Riki, Josín and Javi Cueto.
The players resuming training will undergo the relevant medical tests tomorrow.
