After playing their final match of 2020 against Ponferradina at El Toralín yesterday, the Real Oviedo first-team squad will now enjoy a short break, coinciding with the Winter Break in LaLiga Smartbank.
Ziganda's side will return to team training on 27th December, when they will have to undergo medical tests. They will then begin training sessions and start to prepare for the next league fixture, which will see them face RCD Mallorca. Real Oviedo will face Mallorca on 3rd January, with kick-off at 21:00 at the NMR Carlos Tartiere.
Real Oviedo Vetusta will also enjoy a short holiday, resuming training on Monday 28th December. They will then begin to prepare for their next Segunda B fixture, which will take Cañedo's side to El Plantio to face Burgos.
The Juvenil sides, who play their final matches of 2020 on 23rd December, will also enjoy a short break to enable them to return to their league seasons with recharged batteries in 2021.
