Last Thursday we began an initiative with the aim of putting the spotlight on those anonymous heroes who, in the midst of the situation we are currently all going through, have lived emotional and moving tales of overcoming obstacles and battling.
The first of those tales is below:
Hi,
My name is Igor. I am Asturian and a member of the National Police. I live in Canet de Berenguer (Valencia), and am stationed in Sagunto... A few months ago we struck up a very nice friendship with another three families...the link between us being that our little ones go to school together.
Juan and Alicia are the parents of Mateo, and they are both doctors. Alicia caught COVID-19...Juan is at his parents' home...Alicia is home alone, and the little one is with his uncle... Today, Alicia beat the virus. She tested negative, and I am going to open a couple of bottles of cider to celebrate it...even more than Mossa's goal against Sporting...I have attached some screenshots that Juan sent us a few weeks ago when this nightmare all began!! HALA OVIEDO, Orgullo, Valor y Garra.
If you, like Igor, wish to give a voice to that Oviedista in your life, you can tell your stories and share your photographs through hola@realoviedo.es. If you also send your contact details then we can get in touch with you and continue this initiative.
