Real Oviedo and Wakatake Group reached an agreement a few weeks ago for the development and training of Japanese players and coaches. Thanks to this collaboration, five young Japanese boys have arrived at our FUNDOMA residence. The youngsters will spend the next two months staying at our facilities, with specific training plans.
Following the positive experience of four Japanese players who arrived in Oviedo in August, a further five boys will now enjoy an experience which will allow them to keep developing on both a personal and a footballing level. Their weekly plan will include a variety of activities, from specific technical sessions led by our club coaches, to group sessions with some of the teams from the Real Oviedo Soccer School. These workouts will help the players to improve their abilities on an individual level, as well as their teamwork. In addition, the little ones will enjoy fun, cultural activities, getting to know our stadium and our city. These two months will serve to help them to strengthen their personal and educational growth.
This latest project sees Real Oviedo and Wakatake Group continue with a collaboration which our club is very proud of. This visit also contributes to the learning of our young players, who are enjoying having new teammates for eight weeks, from whom they can learn about the interesting Japanese culture.
