El Requexón today hosted the postponed fixture from Matchday 13 in the Segunda División B, with Real Oviedo Vetusta facing Atleti B.
Producing one of their best matches of the year, Emilio Cañedo's lads earned another three points, this time against an Atleti B side who could do very little to withstand a very dominant Real Oviedo Vetusta.  Los Azules knew how to respond after conceding the opener, which the Madrid side converted from the spot.  Andoni Ugarte made the most of a set piece to equalise.  Little by little, the Carbayón B team took command of the game, keeping possession and creating the most dangerous chances.  One such move saw a fine Vanderson strike put the Asturians into the lead, as he took the keeper by surprise from the edge of the box.  The teams went in for halftime with the score 2-1.  Vetusta continued in the same vein after halftime, as they continued to create the best opportunities.  The attackers began to seek out the visiting net, and Riki would extend the lead from one such move.  The youth-team player sealed a fine passage of play by making the score 3-1.  Andoni Ugarte, José Martínez and Steven all
had chances to extend the lead further, but were unable to do so.  In the closing stages, Atleti B cut the deficit to 3-2.  The match finished on a sour note, as Viti Rozada had to be stretchered off after a tough challenge from a visiting player.
Real Oviedo Vetusta picked up another three points today, moving them up to ninth in the table.  The next match will see them travel to Vigo to face Celta B.
