The club’s sports management continues working to plan the new season; they have finalized two more friendly matches, which will complete the preseason calendar for Juan Antonio Anquela’s team. They will also play a match against the reserve team.
As is tradition each preseason, the blue team will begin their round of preparatory matches by testing themselves against Real Oviedo Vetusta, on July 18th. The time and place of this match still needs to be confirmed and will be finalized within the next few days.
Additionally, Real Oviedo will test themselves against San Sebastián de los Reyes on Saturday, July 21st, for their second preparatory match of the season. Both teams are working to find an optimal setting to hold the match. In the next few days, the time and place of the match will be announced.
Similarly, on August 11th, Real Oviedo will compete against Deportivo de La Coruña, a team that will be contending in La Liga 1|2|3 this season. This match will end the blue team’s preparation for the season. It will take
place at Foz, a Galician location, as long as the playing field conditions are suitable for football. The time of the match will be determined in the next few days.
