Real Oviedo winger Viti Rozada appeared in the Press Room at El Requexón at the start of a new week of training.
The first match of the LaLiga SmartBank season saw the player from Laviana score one of the two goals for Los Azules. The Asturian admitted that "I'm happy to score and contribute to the team, but the draw was a shame. I would have preferred to have won and not scored. Getting a goal gives you confidence, though."
Asked about his fine performance against CD Lugo, Viti reasoned that "I think that I played some good matches in previous seasons, but now because I scored people get the impression that I had a great game. The final score was unfair." In addition, regarding what the team had been lacking in order to get all three points, the attacker said that "we needed to protect the result better at 2-0. They did well after equalising by wasting time. We
are lacking that experience as we are a young team."
With respect to Ziganda's message to the squad after the match, Viti commented that "he told us that he was happy with the team's effort, determination, and battling, but annoyed that two points had got away from us."
Finally, asked about his future, the Asturian stated that "my intention has always been to stay here and fight for a place. I have it clear in my mind and I am not thinking about leaving."
