Matchday 7 in Grupo I of the Segunda División B saw Real Oviedo Vetusta travel to Galicia to visit O Vao, a stadium which conjures up many memories for Oviedistas, and Los Azules fell to a 1-0 defeat against Coruxo.

The match, which was a real game of two halves, began with the hosts takingthe lead from a defensive error from Los Carbayones, which left goalkeeper Jaume helpless. Coruxo took control of the match during the opening 45 minutes, as Real Oviedo Vetusta struggled to link up between the lines. The second half was a more-open affair as Emilio Cañedo's side tried to break down the home defence. A combination of misfortune, the woodwork, and some fine goalkeeping denied the B team an equaliser. The match ended 1-0.

Real Oviedo Vetusta will have another chance to pick up a win next weekend, as they face Racing de Ferrol. The match will kick off at 12:00 on Sunday at El Requexón.
