Real Oviedo Vetusta player Vanderson today underwent surgery on his knee injury. He picked up the injury in the fixture against UP Langreo B, and after scans, required the operation.
The operation took place in the Knee Unit at Clínica Fremap Majadahonda and was performed by Doctor García de Lucas and Doctor Gloria López. It concluded satisfactorily.
The player is now recovering and will, in principle, be returned to his home in Oviedo in the coming days.
