Real Oviedo has laid the foundations and strengthened its relationship with its international shareholders over the course of this season, which marked the tenth anniversary of November 2012's 'Proud of You' movement.

The different work and initiatives carried out this year had the main aim of improving communication with fans based outside of our borders, who were so important for us during the share campaign which saw Real Oviedo's future at stake.

The annual 'Supporters' Weekend' event was reintroduced between 25th and 28th November 2022, bringing together a number of shareholders from around the globe for a complete experience in Oviedo. Oviedistas from different corners of the world enjoyed a tour of our Fundoma youth-team residence, a VIP experience at the match against Mirandés, an act at the Tartiere with Miguel Linares and Carlos Muñoz, attendance at a first-team training session at El Requexón, and many more activities.

In addition, renowned British journalist and Oviedista Sid Lowe also reached out to our international fans through a video call, in which a wide variety of topics were discussed and the participants talked about the past, the present, and the future of the movement.

Many shareholders almost made the visit to the Carlos Tartiere over the course of the season, with the club receiving visitors from the USA, Uruguay, the UK, the Netherlands, Ireland, Australia, Taiwan, and many more nations.

The translation of the Real Oviedo club webpage and the imminent launch of the English version newsletter also provide new boosts to the 'Proud of You' spirit for all those who wish to keep up with the latest news and events at Los Azules.

Finally, to strengthen still further the links and relations with our shareholders, over the course of the season Real Oviedo also carried out 33 video calls with groups of shareholders based in the following different countries and cities: the Republic of Ireland, New York, Portland and California, Scandinavia, Yorkshire (England), Texas, Germany, India / Nepal, Merseyside (England), Australia / New Zealand, Belgium / Netherlands, Washington, Wales and Northern Ireland, North-East England, London, China, Central Europe, Southern Europe, Canada, Eastern Europe, Essex / Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire / Lincolnshire / Hertfordshire (England), Southern England, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire (England), Florida, South-West England, Northern England, and Illinois / Michigan.
